Jenn T. Grace
Gay Business & Marketing
Jenn has over ten years of diversity and marketing experience focusing specifically on the LGBT market segment. Armed with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Jenn first sought out marketing opportunities within the niche area of LGBT travel initiatives. Within those endeavors she became involved with the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) and the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), which led her to her more notable work on the local level with the CABO-CT's LGBT Chamber of Commerce.
Now wielding a master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, she has been running a LGBT certified business that focuses on marketing planning, branding, social media and design services since 2004. In 2007, CABO approached Jenn to create the marketing and branding for the organization. The relationship she created with CABO quickly grew into passion and excitement for the LGBT business movement. After several years serving on CABO’s board of directors, CABO contracts her LGBT certified business to fulfill the role of executive director. In August 2011, CABO won the coveted Chamber of the Year award from the NGLCC under Jenn’s leadership.
In 2010, Jenn was named one of Go Magazine’s Top 45 Red Hot Entrepreneurs. She is frequent columnist and panelist for LGBT publications and conferences speaking on topics related to LGBT business.
Jenn brings a unique skill set to any organization. She is detailed, organized, often referred to as OCD, but is also a visionary who sees the big picture and understands how it all fits as part of a larger puzzle. She thrives in environments where structure is necessary but missing and can help you build infrastructure around your project or initiative. She hopes to one day author a satire titled, "The Plight of an Overachiever."
